I hope nobody forgot about me!! It’s Oishii! Project’s big sister, Sophia!

It really does feel like graduation day, huh? From the beginning there were 18 of us. I wasn’t familiar with all the other girls, all I knew is that I wanted to work as hard as them! It wasn’t till after a few weeks that we dwindled down to the solid 15 girls.

Originally I was to graduate into Oishii! Kiwi. Here’s a little Oishii! Fun Fact: If I would have chose to stay with debuting, Oishii! Kiwi would have 2 Sophie’s and Oishii! Lychee would have 2 Abbie’s!! Isn’t that neat? Sophie and I talked about teaming up to make a mini idol unit called “So-So”. LOL! There’s lot of chemistry and sparks flying when you get a bunch of girls who are all passionate about the same thing, and the mini cherries were no exception. In the 6 months that I’ve spent with these girls, I’ve realized that I wanted to watch these girls reach their dreams more than anything, and so I turned in my own hopes of glitz and glamour to be a part of the Official Staff! I have to say, though I have a heavy heart I won’t be able to perform with my girls, I find comfort in knowing that I can truly be their big sister watching them from backstage. They’ve made me so proud, and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else any other way. I’ve prepared little graduation messages for everyone, so please read them!

To the remaining Mini Cherries:

Shannie, though we haven’t talked much, I do follow your tumblr. Whenever you made a post about fitting into old clothes again or your workout regimen a spark of rivalry would flare up and I would think “Ahh! She works so hard! What am I doing just sitting here?!”. Please continue to work hard and overcome those obstacles!

Mariko, I didn’t think much of you until I watched your vlog on what being an idol means to you. I was moved!!! You seemed so cool and mature, and I wanted to get closer to you! I think you’re the kind of person who keeps it together when situations get tough, even though it can get scary, right? Please stay strong for me, us, and most importantly yourself.

Tohru, you were the one that warmed up to everyone the quickest!! She’s such a little ball of energy and she just NEVER QUITS! Though she’s very cute and full of youth, she’s actually older than me!! One time during the summer, she helped me with my vocals until 8 AM IN THE MORNING. Tohru is an amazing vocalist, and so it really meant a lot when she coached me. I’ve learned so much from her, gained so much respect for her, and absolutely love her to bits!! Thank you, Tohru! I’m rooting for you!

Hina, you were the reason I auditioned, actually. I’ve always admired your vocal talent and watched all your covers. When I heard about your hiatus I was devastated. With each day that passes by I’m sending positive thoughts your way, in your full recovery and your return to the cover community. We love you Hina!!

To Oishii! Lychee:

Abby, congratulations on your debut!! You’re such a cute girl! You were always prompt with the deadlines and worked hard, so for that I hold high respect for you! Please continue to work hard!

Abbie, you’ve grown a lot from when you first joined! You cleaned up your image a lot, and through all the negativity you get from your peers, you’ve found friends who share the same passion and have had quite the successful performing career! You’ve gone very far, you never quit! You’ve got the biggest drive I’ve ever seen and I know you’ll be successful if you continue to grow!

Nico, you darling, you! Your delicate and soft nature has captivated the crowd, and I am no exception! You always have kind words to say, no matter what. Your art is absolutely gorgeous, and your voice is like wind chimes in a forest! Thank you for working so hard and supporting everyone within the group!

Usagi, watching you grow was really fun! Your stories about your work and school made me laugh the most!! You have so much charisma and charm, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Above all, I support you in full! So don’t ever let anyone get the best of you, cutie!

Vicky, despite the language barrier, you’ve been the most enthusiastic and friendly girl I’ve met! You were always eager to improve yourself and grow! I admired you for that, and I think you’re super cute!! Whenever I see a new cosplay from you, my heart just explodes! Please continue to work hard, and make me proud!

Finally, To Oishii! Kiwi:

Sophie, you are amazingly talented!! Performing is your life, and I have nothing but the utmost respect for that! Your first vlog made me laugh, because you’re kinda dorky in a charming way! I was looking forward to creating that “So-So” unit!! But either way, please work hard for everyone!

Nina, always prompt and always on time, you work so hard! Congratulations on your debut! I was looking forward to working with you, and getting to know you better, but I hope you’ll accept me as your mentor and staff as well!

Chikage, you have this amazing voice and cute personality! I JUST CAN’T! You were always on time for everything, and you kept improving yourself no matter what! How you keep up with your studies and idoling, I’ll just never know!! I look forward to your debut! Keep fighting!!

Hana, we really bonded after I came to your 2^nd live! I stayed the whole 3 hours you performed, and I have to say that you’ve grown so much with your singing and playing. We talk a lot more now, and I’m so so so, happy. You’re extremely beautiful and I’m honored to be able to work with you! Congratulations on your debut!

Yukina, you were the first to ask for my number! I was surprised, since you’ve said before that making friends is a little difficult for you. I was surprised to learn that you were a fan of musicals and literature! I’m not much of a reader, but I’m inspired to read a few of your recommendations. I’m very happy that you’ve opened up, even if just a little and I look forward to your debut the most!! Make me proud girl!!

I’ve rambled on so much!! I didn’t mean to keep you all for very long, but thank you for reading my graduation message! Continue to support these girls, and support me on my voyage of Official Staff!!

31. Tohru

Hi Tohru here! This is my first blog, but I’m pretty much just going to talk about things like it’s the norm. So, how was everyone’s Thanksgiving? I had a really good time!! I went to my Grandmother’s house and we made a lot of food. Couldn’t take any pictures though because it was gone before I could even give thanks!  I have a story of that one fine question everyone always asks around these times. “What are you thankful for?”

Well, my Nana lives relatively close to Emerald Isle, which is a pretty amazing surf hangout so I hit the waves the day after Thanksgiving! The water was freezing, but there is nothing like Fall/Winter waves. This one swell I hit almost  scared me to death. I saw dorsal fins and shadows in the waves… Of course, being me I assumed they were sharks. Emerald Isle is notorious for sharks hanging around the lighthouse. I froze up… I didn’t know what to do. If I panicked too much, I’d fall off my board. If I stayed on my board… eventually the wave would end and I would have to get down. With my luck I’d get some sort of rip tide.

Then it happened… a clashing wave caused by the rip tides. It collided right into me and I fell. Fearing the worse, I clung to my board, riding the wave until it carried me to a nearby sand bar.  I didn’t see anything in the water from that point on, so I headed to the shore.  Off the sandbar and into the depths I swam. Then, something brushed my leg. I froze, knowing that sharks are attracted to movement. Then, it nudged me again. My heart thudded in my chest so hard, I thought it would explode. Right when I thought my poor heart couldn’t take it anymore, something blew up at me through the water.

A dolphin… not just one dolphin, but a whole family of dolphins. They were playing with me?! I couldn’t believe it… I was so scared for nothing. So, as it turns out… I was surfing with dolphins all day, and I had no idea. They were so cute, and I think they wanted me to pet them, but I decided against touching them too much. By that time I was starting to shiver from the cold water. I needed to get on land before I froze to death.  After I got home that day, no one believed me that I surfed with dolphins. So, I insisted that we go to the beach as a family the next day. Sure enough, those dolphins were still there, playing. It was like the dolphins were having a little Thanksgiving of their own!!

Later that day, we all played on the shores , sticking our feet in the water and chasing waves as they crashed on the seashell embedded shore. We watched the sunset as it trickled behind the ocean. Such beauty was captured in that one moment.  So, I guess I am thankful for the little moments. Being surrounded by the ones you love and so much amazing scenery, what more could you ask for?

P.S. We also drove to the nearest military facility, Ft. Macon. We got this super pretty picture of the canons that protected the fort during many battles of the civil war and other attacks on the fort. That’s me next to the canon in the middle > v < <3 Have a good day!!

25. Yukina

Hello all! I believe it is time for me to update my blog. ^_^ Just so you all know, I’m always reading books. Haha I find comfort in them and they can never leave you. Remember that. As of right now, I’m reading like 5 books. XD currently I’m on Tilt by Ellen Hopkins. I love all of her books and probably will never stop reading them. I encourage everyone to read them.

Now to move on to personal life issues. Hehe. I’m still looking for a job, and it’s hard in this area to find one. I’m also planning on going back to college in the spring. I’m just trying to finish my general education. I tried beauty school in February but it didn’t work out so well. I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. I’m still writing my short story that I’m putting up on DeviantArt. It’s more for mature readers so that’s why I haven’t really put it out there in the open. I’m still writing it though and it’s coming along nicely. This is a sillier picture but it’s still good none the less. ^_^ This blog wasn’t really that long but thanks for reading anyway and hopefully Oishii will be announcing our groups soon so all of you can keep up on what’s to come. Stay excited!

Hey everyone!! It’s Sophia!! It’s been a while since the last update hasn’t it? School has started and I’ve been swamped down with a lot of work. I’m taking a college course in Neurology! 

I got to hold an actual human brain! My lab partner took a picture of me holding it~ Though it’s a bit blurry…

GAMETIME’s PV just came out recently?? Did you all like it?
Lately a lot of things have been on my mind. I would think of things like “Am I a really cut out for this?” in any situation. The lyrics to GAMETIME really gave me hope; therefore, I’m very pleased with the single.

“I tell myself these things everyday/you’ll find a way/it’s hard to look ahead when you feel so small/just stand up tall!”

This part speaks to me the most. I hear Chii wrote the lyrics. Honestly we don’t speak much, but if she’s reading this, I want her to know that her lyrics have really impacted me and that I have mad respect for her.

Hello all! I’m Yukina and this is my recent blog update so I’m going to try to put as much as I can in this one. ^_^

For starters you should know that I love Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Hehe. So that means I was really excited about her new single Fashion Monster.

I’ve started learning the lyrics already and I love the MV. <3 Kyary is so young (only 19!) and successful so I really like her as a role model even though I’m older than her. On my tumblr, which you should follow, I always post stuff about her and I constantly say she’s my waifu. *giggles* She’s just all around awesome and I’m working on getting her book, ‘Oh! My! God! Harajuku Girl’.

Next is my upcoming vacation. Along with my aunt and my mom, I’ll be going to California next week, specifically San Diego. We won’t be there long but we have lots of stuff planned. I’m excited about the zoo, walking around the Gaslamp Quarter, maybe going to a beach and especially Chinatown. I’ve only been to the Chinatown in New York so I’m sure this one is great too. ^_^

I want to take a photo like this when I’m there. Haha I might need a better camera for that though. XD

So now I guess the next thing I am going to move on to are books. I have a huge pile of books in my room that I need to read, I am currently reading about four books and one of them has my full attention as of the moment. ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’. It’s neat and it’s going to be made into a movie which I’m probably going to see.

It has Emma Watson you guys. ^_^

Hey everyone! It’s Sophia! Did you miss me, as much as I missed you?

Guess what? Today is 4^th Of July!! I’m super excited!!! As I was pulling in the driveway last night, I saw this!

Can you believe it? My dad decorated the tree we caught on fire from last year!! My dad gets more excited than I do!

That being said, is everyone doing well? I hope everyone in America has a happy 4^th!

If you’re not from America, there’s still good news! Morning Musume’s 50^th single “One Two Three” and BABYMETAL’s “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!!” come out today! Both songs are REALLY great, I recommend them!!

Hello everyone! It’s Oishii Mini Cherry Shannie here. How are you? I hope that you are all doing well! This is my first blog entry and will be a little introduction for you all. This week I have been working, and practicing my Irish Dancing very much. I have a big competition coming up and I’m very nervous about it. But I will keep positive because I know I can do it! Do you like to dance? It’s a good way to exercise and have fun with friends. (^___^)v

This week I went to the movies to see Disney Pixar’s Brave with my best friend! I love Disney and Pixar and the movie was very good. I relate to princess Merida a lot. And she makes me feel like a confident and strong individual. So far my summer has kicked off to a good start and I’m so excited for all of the fun things I’ll get to do this summer! What’s your favorite summer activity? Mine is having fun pool parties with friends! Summer is always much more fun when you spend it with friends and family.

I hope that so far you all are supporting the Mini Cherries and the Ichigo group with pride! We’re very excited about this group as well and I know that we will bring smiles to all of your faces. I think I have found my biggest fan today as well! While I was writing this blog entry my dog, Sammy, had his eyes on me the entire time and kept crying for me to pet him! It was so cute and eventually he just sat himself in my lap and I had to take a break from writing! But I think that’s all for today.
